Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on https://vx.studio, operated by OKDOTSTUDIO LTD. (“VX.STUDIO”, “we”, “us”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website, or a service embedded in it, stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, keep information on your device in other ways.

2. Cookies Set by Our Website

Our website does not set its own (first-party) cookies.

3. Your Appearance Preference

When you switch between the light and dark appearance, the website saves your choice in your browser’s local storage under the key vx-theme, so the site looks the way you chose on your next visit. It stores only “light” or “dark”, stays on your device, and is never sent to us. It remains until you clear your browser’s site data.

4. Embedded Videos (Vimeo)

Some pages, for example project pages and our About page, include videos hosted by Vimeo. We embed them in Vimeo’s “do not track” mode, which asks Vimeo not to track your viewing. Some videos start automatically, so your browser may connect to Vimeo as soon as the page loads. See Vimeo’s privacy policy.

5. Security Cookies (Cloudflare)

Vimeo’s video player uses Cloudflare’s security services, which may set the following cookies on the vimeo.com domain. They protect the video service from automated traffic and abuse, and are not used for advertising.

• __cf_bm: identifies automated traffic (bot management). Duration: expires after 30 minutes of inactivity
• __cf_ob: used by Cloudflare’s security services. Observed duration: deleted when you close your browser
• cf_clearance: records that your browser passed a security check, so you aren’t asked again. Observed duration: up to 1 year

Some of these cookies, such as cf_clearance, are set only under particular security conditions, for example when Cloudflare asks your browser to complete a check. Durations are as we observed them and may change; Cloudflare explains its cookies in its cookie documentation.

6. Analytics and Advertising

Our website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies, and does not use advertising or tracking pixels.

7. Managing Cookies

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block Vimeo’s or Cloudflare’s cookies, embedded videos may not play.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may introduce analytics tools and a cookie consent tool in the future. When we do, we will update this Cookie Policy and the “Last updated” date above.
