OKDOTSTUDIO LTD. (“VX.STUDIO”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at https://vx.studio. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the website, why we collect it, how we handle it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.

For details about cookies and similar technologies, see our Cookie Policy.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you send through our contact form

When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your company name
  • Your company’s website, if you provide it
  • The service you’re interested in
  • Your budget range
  • Your message
  • Your confirmation that you have read this Privacy Policy (the privacy checkbox)

We don’t record your IP address or device details as part of your enquiry.

b. Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting provider, Vercel, processes the technical information needed to deliver pages and keep the website secure. Its server request logs may include your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the referring page.

We don’t use analytics or advertising tools on the website, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.

c. Information you share with us in other ways

If you email us or work with us as a client, we process the information you share in that correspondence or project.

d. Reviews and testimonials

Our website may display reviews of our work that clients originally published on third-party review platforms, such as Clutch and Upwork. Where permitted, we may display identifying information that accompanies a review, such as the reviewer’s name, job title, company name and company logo.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data to:

  • Read and respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible project with you
  • Communicate with you about projects and services you’ve asked about
  • Deliver the website, its images and videos, and keep it secure
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

If you have opted in to receive updates from us, we may also send you news and insights by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our messages.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where data protection laws such as the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation apply, we rely on these legal bases:

  • Responding to your enquiry: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us
  • Operating and securing the website: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website
  • Legal obligations: where we must keep or disclose information to comply with the law
  • Marketing emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time
  • Displaying reviews: our legitimate interest in showing what clients have said about our work, and the reviewer’s permission where we have asked for it

4. Service Providers and Sharing

We use the following service providers. They process personal data on our behalf, only as needed to provide their services to us:

  • Vercel: website hosting and server request logs
  • Sanity: content management and delivery of the website’s images and videos. Your browser connects to Sanity’s servers to load them, which shares your IP address with Sanity
  • Supabase: storage of contact enquiries
  • Resend: delivery of the email that notifies our team of a new enquiry

Some pages include videos hosted by Vimeo, played in Vimeo’s “do not track” mode. When a page with a Vimeo video loads, or when you play one, your browser connects directly to Vimeo and to Cloudflare, which provides security services for Vimeo’s player and may set security cookies. Vimeo and Cloudflare handle that data under their own privacy policies; our Cookie Policy describes the cookies.

If you work with us, we may use other service providers, for example to schedule meetings or process payments, and share only the information needed for that purpose.

We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

5. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may store or process personal data in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. If you have questions about how your data is transferred and protected, contact us at support@vx.studio.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep contact enquiries, including the notification email our team receives, for 24 months from the date we receive them, and then delete them, unless we need to keep information longer for an ongoing project or to comply with a legal obligation.

Server request logs and other data held by our service providers are kept according to those providers’ retention settings.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Ask us to delete your personal data
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing
  • Receive your personal data in a portable format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To make a request, including a request to delete your enquiry, email support@vx.studio. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

If you wrote a review that appears on our website and would like it, or your details, removed, email support@vx.studio and we will remove it from the website.

You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

8. Data Security

We protect personal data with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to enquiry data. No system is completely immune to threats, but we work hard to safeguard your information.

9. Cookies

The website doesn’t set its own cookies and doesn’t use analytics or advertising cookies. It stores your light or dark appearance preference on your device, and embedded Vimeo videos may set Cloudflare security cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains these in detail.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
