Overview / 01

Turning curiosity about bee-free honey into pre-orders.

Honey, made without bees.

Bee-io produces honey without bees. It’s a product most people have never come across, and it has to make sense to consumers and industry stakeholders at the same time.

We developed the brand identity and designed and built the website, which explains the product, builds credibility, and takes pre-orders.

  • Bee-io homepage hero introducing honey made without bees.
  • Bee-io product page for bee-free honey, with product details and an option to order.
  • Bee-io blog page with articles explaining bee-free honey and the technology behind it.
  • Bee-io pre-order page on mobile, with product details and a pre-order button.

Challenge / 02

Complex food technology, made clear to two audiences at once.

Explaining the science, then selling the jar.

Bee-io needed people to understand what bee-free honey is and why it matters, without losing the scientific credibility industry stakeholders expect. Consumers and industry needed different levels of detail from the same brand.

The website also had to sell. Before the product was widely available, it needed to turn interest into pre-orders, so explanation and conversion had to work on the same pages.

  • Bee-io pre-order page on desktop, with product details and a pre-order button.

Solution / 03

An identity and website built to explain first, then sell.

Clear enough for consumers, credible enough for industry.

We built an identity that makes bee-free honey approachable for consumers while keeping the scientific credibility industry stakeholders look for.

The website follows the same logic. The homepage and blog explain what the product is and why it matters. The product page gives a first-time buyer the details they need, and the pre-order flow turns interest into an order on desktop and mobile.

The identity also carries through to the packaging, so the jar looks like it comes from the same brand as the site.
