Overview / 01

Positioning, website and organic growth for a 3D food printing company.

Food technology with a lot to explain.

Steakholder develops 3D printing technology for producing plant-based and cultivated meat. Its audience ranges from investors and food processing companies to vegan retail brands and meat and fish distributors around the world.

We updated the identity, built a messaging framework around the technology, designed and developed the website, and developed the organic marketing strategy, including LinkedIn.

The work established a stable source of organic traffic and generated more than 300 leads, including enterprise opportunities.

Challenge / 02

One technology, explained to investors, partners and processors.

Every audience needed a different explanation.

Steakholder’s audiences needed different things from the same story. Investors wanted to understand the opportunity, food processors and distributors wanted to know how the printers would fit their operations, and retail brands wanted to see the products. All of them needed the science explained clearly, without oversimplifying it.

The existing website couldn’t carry that range. It needed rebuilding so the technology, products, and printers could each be presented properly, and Steakholder needed a way to reach those audiences beyond the site, through organic search and LinkedIn.

Solution / 03

Messaging, identity, website and organic growth, working as one system.

A message for each audience, and a way to reach them.

We started with a messaging framework that explains Steakholder’s technology at the right depth for each audience, then updated the identity to carry it, from the website to packaging.

The website gives each part of the business its own place: dedicated pages for each printer, including the HD144 and MX200, product pages for printed meat, a News and Insights section, and investor relations pages with SEC filings. Animations show how the technology works, so visitors can see it rather than only read about it.

To reach those audiences beyond the site, we developed the organic marketing strategy, including LinkedIn. The work established a stable source of organic traffic and generated more than 300 leads, including enterprise opportunities.
