Overview / 01

A rebrand and new website for a vacation car rental company.

Vacation car rental, rebuilt around the booking.

Carter rents cars to travelers on vacation. They came to us to rebrand the business and rebuild the website, with two goals: attract more customers and make renting a car easier.

We delivered the brand identity, website design, and full development. Every decision was judged by how quickly a traveler can find the right car and book it.

  • Carter car selection page on desktop, listing available rental cars with prices and details.
  • Carter website section explaining the rental process step by step, from choosing a car to pickup.

Challenge / 02

A fragmented booking path that made travelers hesitate.

Travelers couldn’t tell what was available.

Carter’s old website didn’t match the experience the company wanted to offer. The booking path was fragmented, it wasn’t clear which cars were available, and travelers hesitated at the points where they needed to commit.

In a competitive rental market, trust and speed decide who gets the booking. The challenge was to make an operation with changing inventory and many options easy to understand at a glance.

Solution / 03

A clearer brand and a shorter path from search to booking.

Availability up front, help when it’s needed.

We started with a brand identity designed to feel reliable and approachable. Those are the qualities a traveler looks for when renting a car somewhere unfamiliar.

On the website, availability comes first. Travelers browse cars with real-time inventory, so what they see is what they can book, and they complete the booking in a few steps. Live customer support sits directly in the booking flow, so a question doesn’t have to end the booking.

The identity also carries through to outdoor advertising, so the brand looks the same on the street as it does online.
